The II World War for the Russian people was more The Great Patriotic War. It was really a great event in Russian’s history. It contained everything: heroism and cowardice, brilliance and stupidity, despotism and freedom. A lot of events and situations were described because everything was paid by the people’s lives. Only an accident divided the people in alive and dead, but the fate of the whole country depend on everyone. And every soldier, who stopped the movement of the fascists even for a minute at the cost of his life, was the greatest hero. Their photos and names are kept carefully in the family albums, and on the walls. This stage of the project is called Photos on the Wall because you will make Web-pages about the people, whose names are known only in your own families, who were your great-parents. Write everything you know about them, their lives, military deeds.
