The United States of America entered in the war at the 8 of December in 1941.
Soldier forces the USA and Great Britain conducted one of the most large-scales
operations with name “Overlord” . Soviet troops struck large defeats to vermuht on the east front and arranged to the vital and important centre of the opponent. Germany’s condition deteriorated. The USA and England used propitious term and entered to the preparation of disembarkation their troops in the Northern France (operation “overlord”) and auxiliary attack in the Southern France (operation “Envil”).
The first and the third American armies landed on the bridge-head in Normand. The first army shift to the attack under the command of Fappet Bredli .
Bredli described one day of this operation.
He said, that the equipment put out of action because it was strong frost. Ice grows stronger on his plane. They wanted to come back. When they were sitting in Yakutsk, the visibility was ? mile, it was snowing. The plane was difficult in the driving, because it was in the ice formation. But Bredli with the command made accurate run to the emplaning. It was cold and the aggregates were stopped. The command could only wait. Bredli said that he got fine possibility to see all difficulties of the direction and to convince in the firm resolution of Russian people to get over all problems. The best pilots worked on this route.
Organization of the ground service quickly acquired inexplicable lines. Bredli was proud that he took part in this project.
