          Alan Frensis Brook was born in the small health-resort town on the south of France.23 July in 1887.He was descended from a family of English aristocrats, that predetermined his choice to the soldier’s career. All World War, I Brook spent on the front in France. In fights he presented himself as a brave and talented officer and owing this fact was accepted on studies in the Academy of General Staff. In 1939 a lieutenant-general was fixed as a commander of the 2-nd corpus of the British expeditionary forces in France.10 May, 1940 Germany inflicted a strike to Belgium and Holland. Alan got an order to pull out into a side of Ipra and to shut down by his corpus a rent in defence.28, May Belgium was capitulated. The whole day the 2-nd corpus fought all attacks of the vermaht heroically. The defense of the city was brought to the general Brook fame and was strengthened his reputation, because he has not spent only the decisive fight, but he has also showed a remarkable mastery at the command of the other British shares. 19, July Alan was fixed as a commander of the parent state’s armies.1, December in1941 he became a superior of the Imperial staff of the land forces and after 10 days USA entered in the war with Reich. Great Britain was got the strongest ally and a result of a war was decided. When it supposed to spend an operation ‘Overlord’ by equal English-American forces from the British territory, wanted to fix as a commander Alan Brook, but to August it was clearly that at invasion the army of USA will play the main part, so an American general would command. This strong and unfair strike Alan endured with really British restraint. The title of a field-marshal was appropriated to Alan Brook 1, January in 1994.He was on his post until 1946, before Alan went to dismissal.
